How much does PMP cost in Saudi Arabia?+
Exam fee is $405 for members, $555 for non-members (≈ SAR 1,500–2,100). Add training cost SAR 2,000–6,000, or self-study. PMP is usually supported by Hadaf at a meaningful percentage.
What are the PMP eligibility requirements?+
Either: bachelor's degree + 36 months of PM experience + 35 hours of formal PM training, or high-school diploma + 60 months of PM experience + 35 hours of training. Experience doesn't have to be as a project manager — leading projects counts.
How long does PMP prep take?+
Typically 80–150 hours of focused study spread over 8–12 weeks. Successful candidates spend ~1.5 hours/day using PMBOK 7 + Andrew Ramdayal + a question bank (e.g. PrepCast).
Is PMP actually required for Saudi jobs?+
Yes — it appears explicitly in PM job postings at Aramco, SABIC, stc, NEOM, and Saudi government PMOs. Many government tenders require it for the responsible PM.
What's the difference between PMP and PMI-ACP?+
PMP is broad — covering predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches. PMI-ACP specialises in Agile, Scrum, and Lean. If you work in tech or digital products, PMI-ACP is a strong add-on after PMP.
